When you calibrate your ‘vanilla’ to ‘hermaphroditic bug-alien tentacle-wangs’ it throws off the whole scale wrt kink in other fandoms.
sometimes you remember ‘vanilla’ actually has stricter parameters than ‘no one actually dies for real during the actual sex act itself’ and get sort of confused about what other people are doing with their friday nights

my level of fanfiction productivity ranges from “typing 20,000 words over the span of 3 days” or “opening a document and staring at it for a year without typing anything at all.” there is no middle ground.
It is TOTALLY available, but you need to go through a doctor. I think that any psychiatrist COULD order it, you just have to get them to get the kit, get a spit sample, and help you interpret the results. (I got a complete copy of mine. Very cool.)

Mine was surprisingly spot-on. There was one place where it said I was a responder to something I do not respond to, and one place where it did the opposite, I think, but the rest was totally accurate and if I’d had it years ago, I could have avoided the meds that messed me up the worst.
