THE STORY BEHIND THIS SCENEEEEE

the two of ‘em were loitering the streets in search of something to eat, when they caught a whiff of ramen from a nearby stall. Takao couldn’t resist and, since there were some available seats at the ‘bar area’, they went inside. 

afterwards, Takao comments that its not without reason this particular stall is popular, and he’d even come by alone to patronise the stall again. Midorima responds that it’d be hard for him because he’s a left-hander, and if seated at the ‘bar area’, he’d keep knocking into other patrons, which is why he dislikes being seated there. Takao sighs and remarks its tough being a left-hander –

– before he recalls that while they were eating, Midorima was matter-of-factly seated on his right.

T: Aren’t you very mindful of the people seated on your left?! And we’ve knocked into each other several times!

To which Midorima says he doesn’t care about knocking into Takao, and to prevent himself from knocking elbows with strangers, Takao must always sit by his left. (TSUN)
