i’m sitting here trying to figure out an explanation for todoroki divulging all of his trauma, all of his deepest secrets, his whole goddamn tragic backstory to midoriya with literally no prompting whatsoever??????
did they ever actually have a conversation before todoroki just revealed his entire life story?? genuinely the only explanation i can come up w is that todoroki went “wow, midoriya seems like such a kind & friendly person. i’d like to get to know him.” except our boy has 0 social skills & has probably never had a friend before so he goes “friends tell each other secrets, right? vulnerability is the key to intimacy, right?” but he is so goddamn clueless that he doesn’t understand that you can do that incrementally so he just……. spills his whole tragic backstory in one go.
there are only two other explanations i’ve come up w. 1 – todoroki has just been looking for someone to tell this to for years & midoriya just has one of those faces that makes you want to spill your darkest secrets so he just locks on to him and goes for it. and, of course, explanation 2, which is simply “dumb and gay”
you know that thing in krbk fics and arts where kiri smiles and baku goes doki, I love that, that’s a great concept
what I love more tho is the idea of bakugou’s heart doing backflips when kiri makes this
sorta faces, Kirishima going *inner shark intensifies* and Bakugou’s mind immediately answering fuck fuck shit fuck goDDAMNIT HOLY F U CK, that’s a good concept, a great concept I should play with that concept more
where is the bnha fusion art? i want to see a tododeku fusion battle and a bakushima fusion attempt to do…pretty much anything, actually, bc bakugou is a huge dick and wouldnt cooperate to fuse
tododeku is so good… Like they’re both some of the most calculating and logical people ever, but at the same time they’re some of the most impulsive hotheads in the show and they’re absolutely willing to disregard the law to throw down against villains. midoriya could devise a plan to fight an entire room full of villains in 0.5 seconds and then jump into action, and not a millisecond later todoroki is rushing into battle behind him, 100% ready to follow him into the depths of hell if he has to. meanwhile iida is tired. so fucking tired.

When he finally came to awareness, he was sitting on his ass on the floor holding a hand to his jaw. Bakugo was on his knees a few feet in front of him, bloody-knuckled fist still raised as if he was preparing to strike. His eyes were wide and wild. His teeth were bared. He looked furious and so incredibly worried as he breathed hard. The left side of his face was red, and blood smeared from the corner of his mouth.
