the whole point of being a teacher and mentor is to support people’s development and youre not doing that

everyone is lucky that midoriya is smart enough to figure stuff out on his own because it feels like nobody is actually giving him their time and energy in the hero world

this is a lesson im learning for myself right now: it’s okay to ask for help. it’s okay to be hurt.

midoriya is trying, and this thing with sir nighteye and mirio and being all might’a successor is hurting him, and he needs help, and no one is helping him

how is midoriya supposed to be all might’s successor without leaning on other people for support?

all might’s reasons for not wanting to introduce midoriya to sir nighteye are iconic:

At the beginning, I think Toshi’s gifts will be very extravagant and impressive because that’s the only way he knows to woo a woman. He’s not confident enough in his own humble self. Inko would be a bit the other way around. When it comes to materialism, she know she couldn’t impress someone like Toshi. So she gives him more personal, homemade things.
