Hey, I absolutely love your series, most of all Vinny and Anton. I’d really love it if you could maybe write some happy facts about them? I’ve had the worst day so far, my dad’s in the hospital because of cancer, I went to see him today and it was horrible… I could really need some cheering up

Anton always knew Vinny was super into helping…everyone – like, he’s come along on probably dozens of children’s hospital visits, and while that’s a typical thing for players, Vinny will pop in way more than asked for. Vinny does the girl’s workshop with Veronique year after year. Vinny did a lot of charity stuff even on a packed schedule, and Anton knows he did fundraisers and such in Sudbury during the offseasons. 

He didn’t realise how much money Vinny actually donated on top of his time, though, until they merged their finances. Vinny was kind of sheepish and apologetic about it, and then, when the bills came a month later with every single monthly amount quadrupled, speechless and in tears, which was kind of a conflict for Anton because he knows they were happy ones but no one is allowed to make Vinny cry, especially him.

Unfortunately for Anton, being a big giver means…charity functions. Anton did not take the charity functions into account when he did this, he just wanted to make Vinny happy. (and to help. Being Vinny’s best friend for over a decade, boyfriend for years, some of his effortless kindness kind of has to rub off on you).

Anyway Anton accidentally gets ‘philanthropist’ added to his description because making Vinny happy is one of the guiding principles of his life.

IMPORTANT ADDITION:

I would like you to look at this RL Ontario boy handing out kisses to his American Dman, with the knowledge young Vinny would 1000% have done that for young Anton.
