what would the red blood cells with sickle cell disease look like
since their hats look like an actual blood cell, it’s possible the diseased one will have a sickle look to it, maybe damaged/ripped hat or maybe a headband of sorts. It’s a possible for the healthy and sickle diseased blood cells to be somewhat similar to healthy and infected cells look.
Note: I am not calling the SCD a virus of sorts, I am simply showing an example comparison between two cells with one being healthy, while the other has something wrong to it. You can see some similarities between the two, both have a human(-like) appearance and a shirt that says “CELL”, but the infected has a zombie look with a hat so we know it’s dangerous.
If the Author were to show us a blood cell with SCD, he would design it in a way that gives it a similar appearance to a regular blood cell but with some small changes to let the audience know that something is wrong with it.
