Muscle is tough, people would be sturdy and hard. And our skin isn’t any softer than a snakes when it comes to cutting it with a knife.

And if we encountered a space dwelling species or one from a planet with low gravity they’d have incredibly weak muscle mass and respiratory systems compared to us.
