I like the idea of Dex being totally oblivious and unaware of when people are flirting with him. Not because he would get too flustered or he’s bad at flirting (he’s actually pretty good when he wants to) but is like they have the worst timing ever whenever they try?

Like, he’s in the middle of working on this goddamn code or reviewing team plays or he’s trying, through text messages, to mediate between his siblings and his parents or something like that and obviously he’s not going to be to be too focused on when others are trying to get his attention.

But the rest of the team realize and they attempt to give a helping hand trying to get Dex to see but Bitty gets distracted by his phone (“Seriously, who are you texting to so much?” “N-no one!”) every 5 minutes, Ransom and Holster oversell it and Dex isn’t convinced at all on their matchmaking ways, Chowder sometimes rambles too much and misses the point and Nursey…

Nursey is jealous, okay? As much as he doesn’t want to admit it he is and a year or so ago he would have been happy helping Dex have a relationship but now he’s not happy about it and is actually terrified that someday someone will have the right timing and manage to get what he has been craving and aching for.
